We see both children and adolescents, between the ages of 6 and 18, for comprehensive evaluations. While we typically evaluate children ages 6 and up, there are times where we provide evaluations to children under 6. More often although an ADHD diagnosis may be likely for that child, before the age of 6 years we work with parents to best manage the child’s behavior and social emotional development, providing a more formal assessment once they turn 6 years old.

There are many bright young adults who often report an increase in academic stress either toward the end of high school or in college and/or graduate school. Though they often just “work harder” or see an impact on their grades, this change can cause them to experience anxiety and/or depression. A diagnosis at this time often helps them to continue pursuing their goals, providing information, accommodations, and support.

A growing number of adults are learning more about ADHD and recognizing that it may be the root of or contributing to years of struggling, not just academically, but emotionally (anxiety and/or depression), interpersonally and sometimes in their career. Our Modified Adult Evaluation was created specifically to provide these adults with the most detailed information to help them better understand and improve their attentional functioning in the most streamlined and cost effective way. We recognize the needs of adults are different than those of children and adolescents yet the information is just as important at 60 as it is at 6!
